Ezio Brotherhood ebay overhaul
Over about a year ago I bought an ezio brotherhood costume off of ebay. At the time I didn't have the knowledge that I know now. As soon as I got the costume in the mail overall I liked it but there had to be a lot of upgrades and tweaks. I got everything tailored to fit me better and moved onto the armor parts.
I sculpted the bracers, created a mold, and casted them in fiberglass. I had the mold bent while I had the resing cured for the general shape. Fresh out of the mold ![]() Trimmed and painted ![]() The shoulder pauldron I just used a camping mat and did a general look. The insignia belt buckle was from fev. The leather belts were a little to light at the time. Pre DragonCon 2011 ![]() ![]() DragonCon 2011 - Met a few other assassins ![]() This year I decided to finally update the pauldron and insignia. I got the insignia buckle from forcebewitya and sculpted the pauldron. The pauldron greeblie was created separately and I just left a blank section to glue it on later. Updated insignia - It's weathered but apparently the camera flash didn't like it ![]() |

Pauldron progression
![]() ![]() ![]() A few casts from the mold. ![]() Trial of the new parts ![]() Final result - belt pouches I had were in the wrong place ![]() I'm happy with the final result. I have to cast another set of bracers due to wear and tear. Short of a set of con friendly hidden blades I'm pretty much calling it done. |
