I couldn't find a previous thread for Zelda this year, so I was curious about whether people are still interested in having a photoshoot? We can decide on a day & time, and I'll be happy to make a list here. If there are only a few of us, we should still try for a meetup!

Zouziias: Great! It looks like Sunday might be the best day (I have a few people not on Coscom, also cosplaying on Sunday), though I'll keep this thread up for the month, and see how many people we can rally together.

Alright guys,

Official photoshoots have to be finalized very soon, but I have two big concerns about this shoot. Having it at 11am means it'll be right in the middle of most check-out times at hotels. While having it later, like 2pm, means many don't have a room at that point, and we might not get as good a turn out. 2-3pm does, however, allow that morning rush to pass.

I heard a lot of people dislike TCC1 last year, because of angles of the trees, and the hydro poles getting in the way. I was thinking DT2, it's still close to the con, there are public bathrooms inside if people need to change quickly (be kind to staff, clean up your mess if necessary), and it's in the parking lot, so if someone needs to bring luggage, there is plenty of flat surfaces to roll them on (just watch your own stuff, or have a friend you know help).

Any thoughts? DT3 is also an option, but quite farther...

2-3 sounds fine to me, but I can't really give an opinion on the location because I've never been to Anime North. I wouldn't mind walking to DT3, but maybe we should shoot for DT2? It seems like a reasonable choice by the way you described it.

I checked out DT3 on Google Street View, it's a really nice open area, with a couple nice trees, but there is dozen of hydro poles right behind (where the map cuts off), including another parking lot at the base. Finding decent green spots at AN, is sometimes the hardest part.

We'll try to find you a nice spot for that Lon Lon Ranch feel though~

I'd say TCC1, DT 2 and DT 3 are the most green spots. DT 3 off to the left *waves arms* away from the hydro is a nice backdrop... but i think DT 2 was the perfect choice for you guys. Perfect size and nice green grass/trees.
