Utatane Piko Help?

I'm not sure if there is already a foru on this if there is i apologize.. anywhoo. I'v been planning to do a cosplay of Utatane Piko and i have a few questions.

Note: I plan to keep it simpler. This is my 2nd cosplay.

My main questions are: How can i get the collar to stand liek that?

What would I do for the USB tail?

How would you suggest simplifying the outfit? instead of those kind of boots would it look bad if i just did knee high converse with covers?

What would u suggest for simplifying the bottom of his shirt..dress thing?

ALSO if i were to make it exactly liek this what would you do to make the bottom of the shirt?

And how would you get that one peice to stick up right ont he wig?

Lots of questions but thanks for the help!

For the collar you could starch it or put something inside it like some sort of sturdy but thin card to keep in upright~

For the USB you can probably use something like rubber tubing for the cord, and then make the main USB out of something like craft foam.

If you really need to bottom of his outfit to be simpler, just either leave out the 3D parts or draw/stich their outlines on. If I were to make it exactly like this I would either make the 3D parts of of fabric and stuff them to make it 3D, or use craft foam, but you'd have to use a strong material for the outfit iteslf to get it to look right. The boots covers might work, but im not sure, i've never done them before ; n;

As for the sticky up piece of hair, use this - http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...eonenamedA.jpg
