Help? Jade Harley Costume

I need help making a Jade Harley Dog Tier costume.
My biggest problem is the hood/hat thingy.
It's not attached so it shouldn't be that hard? But I have no idea how to do it.. Does anyone know of a pattern for this hood, or has ideas on how I could go about making it..
Or even a suggestion of what material to use?

Also ideas for the amazing fuzzy dog ears..?

Thanks for your help everyone!

I'd use a knit material (cotton/poly, or cotton/spandex blend probably) and make a giant cone. The opening should be just about the size around as your head, so it will be tight enough to cling to your head and stay on, but not so tight that it squeezes. You may need to put some lightweight stuffing or batting in the cone to get it to keep its shape.

It'd probably be more secure if you attached it to her dress or top. The dog ears might help hold it on, though .

The two tails on her hood might make it hard to find a pattern, but two cones is the basic shape - you'll just need to figure out how to put them together. It might be simplest to get the outline from a regular hoodie (sort of two elongated quarter-circles sewn together along the curves, usually), then pin the tails on and work from there. I guess you could even sew the tails on top of a normal hood, if you're in a hurry or the geometry gets annoying enough; no one'll see the inside but you.

Oh, look at that - it DOES have two tails. I missed that. Still, two elongated cones would do it for you. That's how I made the headtails for my Shaak Ti costume.

Thanks!
This is super helpful!

I gotta get family from out of town to pick up the fabric for me before they come into town.. I really hope I didn't miss them..
If I did, does anyone know a website I can order fabric from?
