Young Ocelot help

Hey everyone.
I'm never been much of a cosplayer - but with the news that a friend is cosplaying Big Boss, I was thinking of doing Young Ocelot.
So, I was hoping I could grab a few tips and places to buy such a costume. I can make the epaulletes, but i lack the skills for the rest.

I wouldn't buy that cosplay!! It's only barely accurate, if you're going for accuracy. I think it'd probably be cheaper to assemble the costume yourself from an army-navy store.

The shirt on the cosplay isn't half-bad, though it's still not very accurate. If you still really want to buy this, I'd AT LEAST buy an actual military beret from the army-navy store.

My question to you, OP, would be: How much time and money are you willing to spend? As this will affect the advice I can give you c:

My cosplay right here , which I spent a lot of money and time on (no lie probably at least $200 at this point lol) is an example, not sure if you're going for when he has revolvers or not.

Current Cosplays
Major Ocelot - Metal Gear Solid 3 | The Boss - Metal Gear Solid 3 | Xigbar (Normal & Tweedle Dee) - Kingdom Hearts | Revolver Ocelot - Metal Gear Solid | RED fem!Spy - Team Fortress 2 | Colonel Mustard - Clue board game
Cosplay in Progress
Leonardo Da Vinci - Assassins Creed 2 | RED fem!Spy coat - Team Fortress 2
Future Cosplays:
Braig - Kingdom Hearts
Sheik - LoZ (Brawl version)
Member of Oblivion Live as Xigbar
