The 2012 Halloween Cosplay Thread
With the onset of the heat and humidity in my part of this universe, it's time to start thinking about All Hallow's Eve, Wednesday, October 31. What are you planning to do and/or wear?

I'm planning on doing the Avatar: TLA costume I've got in the works, mostly since I'll be handing out candy at work. I'll have Mai done by then, but I might be making Lin at some point. We'll see. :3

Lady Loki is definitely being done for Halloween, though I'm debating if I should combine Loki's design from Avengers with classic Lady Loki from the comics - especially considering the fact that I don't really have the boobage required to do a classic Lady Loki. But I'd have no idea how to combine them in time for Halloween, so I might be sticking with classic Lady Loki - at least for this time frame. >.>
EDIT: Haha, scratch that, I already came up with a design for Avengers inspired Lady Loki. I don't think she's going to be as cheap as I originally wanted, though. She'll definitely keep getting worked on even after Halloween. ^^;

I think I am getting a Vulpix Gijinka made and then my friend who is totally in love with Vulpix, shall be my Pokemon trainer. It should be fun for us, walking around our college campus.

Halloween at School: The Once-Ler For a Halloween 5k: Witch Lin Xiao Li from the Black Cat manga (with my best friend as "Sexy Vampire Jenos" from the same) Friend's Halloween party: Gin from Detective Conan Halloween CMV with friends: Duke Devlin from Yu-Gi-Oh and actual Halloween night: My friend's OC. But next year though, it'll be easier: Pegasus from Yu-Gi-Oh or Faust VIII for everything.

Halloween is a Wednesday this year, so I would have classes. It would have to be more subdued.
Last year I did school-age Bellatrix. This year would probably be another school uniform type costume.

I had been considering making the Fleshmaiden dress from Alice: Madness Returns for Halloween but now I don't think I will. Personally, I like to cosplay more mainstream things for Halloween.

Halloween might be far off, but I don't mind thinking about cooler weather in this damn heat. @__@ Plus, I like Halloween because I can feel like an overachiever for once.
My boyfriend and I are pretty sure we'll want to wear John Constantine and Zatanna, but that depends on whether I get a chance to visit some friends who are more talented than I so that I'll have help building the tailcoat. If that doesn't work out, I was thinking about something Monster High or Catherine from uh... Catherine.

If things go really well, I'll beta-test Link (Twilight Princess).
Otherwise, I'll probably be wearing either something Homestuck (especially if it's cold-- my PJs are so warm!) or my MLP ballgown (but it depends on where we decide to trick-or-treat; since gowns are hard to manage.)
