Zenkaikon is happy to announce cosplay “adventure rock” band Eien Strife as a musical guest for Zenkaikon 2013!

Eien Strife brings to life the story of Terina, a dense forest world that is unknowingly facing its extinction. The four characters of the party — Cheydra, Raien, Lyren and Kale will join together and perform an intense high energy concert that is a truly unique experience both musically and visually. The members of Eien Strife have traveled all over North America and parts of Japan, and now are planning to share their story while delivering a performance that the audience at Zenkaikon will never forget!

Masquerade Registration Now Open!

Online registration for the Zenkaikon 2013 Masquerade is now open! The Masquerade, the highlight of many a con experience, is a staged show where costumed entries appear in front of an audience. Entries take the form of rehearsed skits which may include, but are not limited to: musical numbers, choreographed dances, comedy sketches, acting, instrumental acts, and parodies. The performance should be planned and rehearsed before the event.

The Masquerade will take place on Saturday evening of the convention, and online registration will be open until February 23, 2012.

Zenkaikon is pleased to welcome back author CJ Henderson.

CJ has been a fan favorite at many Zenkaikon events, and we are happy to have him back for our 2013 convention!

CJ Henderson is the creator of the Piers Knight supernatural investigator series, the Teddy London supernatural detective series, and many more. He has written over 70 books and/or novels, hundreds of short stories and comics, and thousands of non-fiction pieces. His set of sci-fi mystery novels are sure to fit in well with our 2013 theme!

Nexus Gaming Alliance to Host Video Gaming at Zenkaikon 2013!

We’re happy to announce that the Nexus Gaming Alliance will be returning to host video gaming! The NGA will use its experience at a variety of other events, including Gen Con Indy, MAGFest, Anime Boston, Katsucon, Anime USA, Animation & Gaming Ohio and many more, to provide the ultimate gaming experience for our attendees. In addition to providing both classic and next-generation consoles, they will also be running many tournaments throughout the weekend.

Actually.. there's a very active anime club in DE that has a pretty good online presence! Delaware Anime Society You should join our facebook and see who you can carpool with. Pretty sure a bunch of folks from our Dover and Wilmington Chapters are going.

Nope! Didn't forget, just wanted to remind you that there is a Delaware group with an online presence, and a group going to Zenkaikon even though you can't make the meetings. Didn't you make those adorable kitty bookmarks for us a few years back? We just sold one the other day, people love em! ^^

If not FB, we still use the Yahoo Group, are you still on there? We have a bunch of new members in Dover chapter that are pretty fun to talk to..although they are most active on the Facebook, they're available on the Yahoo Group as well.

when i was haphazardly using FB I was getting strange things on my computer every day ...... it would figure FB was more popular T_T
