July of 2013?

Did I read that right on their website? It's in the end of July instead of June? I wasn't sure if maybe they just had a typo or something since as far as I remember Metrocon has always been in June. Does anyone know if this is the real time frame? (July 26-28) I couldn't find anything on the forums about it yet, so I figured some one might know something.

Scratch that, turns out there has been previous years where it's been in July :3 I just couldn't remember back to 10, I had had some drama issues and had forgotten it was in July instead of June

Sad to say I can't make it next year since it's around my mother's birthday, but I'm thinking either Net-con, or Dragon-con is a maybe instead of Metro. ^^ Hopefully everyone who goes next year has a blast!

Before the new owners took off,metrocon was a flip flop con, it jumped from june to july, it all depended on if they were able to get the center or not.

But being closer to August makes it more likely that I'll be able to go this coming year since that's getting close to my birthday
