I went to the fabric store to find some fleece/sweatshirt material for my cosplay but I couldn't find any actual sweatshirt type material. I did find the exact color blue I want for it but it's regular fleece. The guy there said it is better to find the actual fabric it is made out of and not to use fleece. Thing is I can't find this particular sky blue anywhere else and I have to have it. Is there a way to make this work like use a cotton fabric for the inside and have the fleece sewn over it as an outer part?

A custom color sweatshirt because I can't find an already made sweater in the color I want. That's why I went looking for fabrics and found only 2 that match the color I want in fleece and another in cotton fabric. And then wings will somehow be attached on the back.
