Hi all! Anyone going to Comikaze 2012 in L.A. at the Los Angeles Convention Center Sept. 16-15? I might be, also just wondering if some Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) fans will be attending?

Huzzah! Finally, a thread for this convention
I normally only bring one costume per day, but since Wonder Woman and Loki are super uncomfortable costumes, I'll be bringing comfy "change-into" costumes as well

Saturday--morning/early afternoon: Jim Lee "classic" Wonder Woman
--evening: a much more comfortable Supergirl costume

Sunday--morning/early afternoon: Lady Loki
--evening: Princess Merida from Brave.

Hope to see lots of cosplayers, this is my first year attending

My sis and I hope to go this year. We hope to have YGOTAS Bakura and Marik done for meeting LittleKuriboh at PMX! Hoping to debut them at comikaze or at least a practice run... if not, then Eruka Frog for me!

I went last year and it was fun. There were a lot more Cosplayers than i thought there would be!! but of course kinda figured there would be due to this is where AX is held and A Lot of Cosplayers live nearby!

With Tara Strong making an Appearance as GOH Who does the voice for (Twilight Sparkle) on My Little Pony Friendship is Magic) For those that missed her at (AM2) this year.

with Comikaze Expo having 40K attendee's last year for their first year Con was Amazing!! this year i hope they = that record or break it.. but i hope they don't become to big like another con down in Southern California to where it is hard to get a Badge for.... (Sigh)

Looking forward to this. Heard it was going to be a lot bigger than last year, and it's being moved to the main halls instead of the basement/parking structure it was in last year. I'll be sporting my Duffman and maybe my Apu if I decide to go on Sunday, too.

One day I will be a Final Fantasy character the other day an x-men character, so I hope there will be Psylocke's. xD

I went last year sort of a spur of the moment thing on Sunday after a photoshoot. The con was almost over, but from what I saw it looked pretty awesome. So this year, I'm dragging my boyfriend along! I can't wait, especially since he is pretty revved up about our cosplays ^_^

I might head out both days. Saturday as Chloe frazer from uncharted and Sunday as Lara croft if I get it done lol. Or I may go as wonder woman. Lol

I am SO excited and saving up for it! I don't really have a cosplay but next year I might try and go as Amora The Enchantress or Sif or Valkyrie. Depending on how much weight I can lose between now and then.
By the way as with my new Thor Obsession I hope to see and/or hug at least one Thor.

I'm going both days with my friend! (: I've heard wonderful things about this con so I'm super excited. I'll either be attending both days as Black WidowXGuild Wars inspired cosplay or Saturday as Yue Ying from Dynasty warriors and Sunday as Black Widow.
