This is their first year of Heroes Vs Villians. Your right it is a pop culture expo which is more along the lines of Supanova. They have some good guests turning up this year as well as a nice venue for their first year.

I shall be attending this con just as a photographer!

Is anyone cosplaying for this event?

If it was an anime event I would go, I can't really think of an anime based cosplay I could get in time.

I would totally go as Harley Quinn, yet my problem is that I doubt I could make the outfit in time and if I was to buy her outfit, there like 70-80 bucks which is WAAAYYY outta my budget line(and it's just for a spandex suit wit frills and hat~-~)

and if i choose a anime based character like Yui form K-on, I don't think anyone would know who I am. this expo has just recently started accepting 'anime' cosplayers too.

sigh maybe next year~

You guys shouldnt feel the need to cosplay a amercian based comic character or something from the movies. Pop culture can be a variety of things and anime is definitly among that. ^^. Join the fun and dress up in your favourite gear <3
