Is the marketplace ever going to be back outside of the forums? Sometimes it gets really frustrating to try and find anything. I know at one point it seemed like it was going to go back go being its own tab but now that looks like a thing of the past.

I was going to ask about this. I love the marketplace! I remember someone saying that the old marketplace was very inconvenient so that is why it is being remodeled? I had no trouble with it and I found it very easy to use.

Can we somehow get a notification when someone replys to our ad on the marketplace?

You can get a notification for any thread ... just above the first post on the right side there is a tab that says 'Thread Tools' click or hover over it, then click "Subscribe to this Thread" and you'll get notifications every time there is activity in that thread.

Noize - In your Edit Options under Messaging and Notifications there is a drop-down box for subscribing by email to threads you start or post in.

As for if the old off-forums Marketplace will ever return, that's a question for Admin - I wish I could provide an answer because I know a lot of people are wondering this.

I find this version so much more difficult to use than the old one.

IF they ever actually make a new marketplace, they should have the option to sort by country and size (xs s m l xl...). Counrty would be convienent because it's usually takes longer and is more expensive to ship out of the country and some people won't ship outside their country anyway. Size would make it so much easier, you wouldn't have to click to view the full description of everything only to find out it won't fit you.

That's what I'd like to see in a Marketplace update.

I posted an ad on the Marketplace this morning, and it seems to have disappeared @_@. I checked the rules again, and I'm pretty certain that I didn't break any of them.

Has this happened to anyone else?

If a Mod deleted my post, could I please get an explination as to why so that I can do my part to ensure that it won't happen again? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm new to the forums. When I posted my thread the other day (and again a few minutes ago), I was told that a moderator needed to look it over before it could be added, but I haven't received any sort of update about what the "status" of the thread is. Do the moderators have to approve any thread started anywhere? I'm just trying to find someone to commission a cosplay from...

I don't know any other reasons but maybe because you only have 4 post? In order to use the marketplace, you need to have at least 10 post and the commissioning thread is linked with the Marketplace.

Ah, so that might be why. I've never been on a board with that kind of posting limitation before. It's probably to keep bots from spamming, huh?

I was never too fond of the old marketplace (don't let this join date fool you, I've been here a year or two).
There are drawbacks to the new Marketplace, and I feel it is less organized, but I like having threads for WTS and WTB customers.

Maybe if there were sub-categories, like one or wigs, another for costumes, etc. like the old Marketplace?
