Coatings for prop gun

I've been looking into different coatings for the guns I've been making (from EVA, craft foam, and foam core). Just as i was about to order some 'Sculptamold' paper clay, i came across a tutorial that recommends 'Isopon' body filler that when set gives a plastic sandable coating/filler. has anybody used it or any other ideas and such?

Also know as bondo, auto body filler takes forever to sand and u really don't want that ESP since that stuff has go be used outside. Personally I just like paper clay, u tend to need to do a second later but u have to w most of them including bondo.

Ayep, i know of bondo, also hearing of it being a nightmare at times. was just trying to find alternatives, and since this is a commission for somebody, i want something sturdy and have a bit of realistic weight to it. probs jut stick to paper clay anyway.. know more of how it works :V
