Arrow How to make silver paper?

Hey there! I need some help. I am altering my SeeU cosplay and I need to know how to make a CD necklace! Just the CD part though. I was planning on making a CD shape with cardstock and then making it silver somehow. How can I make the paper silver??? Or if there is anything else I can do, please tell me! Hahaha!

Here's a picture of her: http://images.wikia.com/vocaloid/images/b/b8/Seeu.jpg

Thank you to those who reply!

P.S. I had a real CD (a tiny one) and I messed it....bad. So now I have to figure out something else. LOL!

What you can try is first seal the cardstock wih modpodge to give you a good solid surfice to work on, then find one of those crome or metallic silver nail polishes and paint away. My friend used shiny nail polish to paint some gems on her Link armor and they came oout pretty well.

When my friend and I were making Sain (FE) armor, we used Rub-N-Buff to make the gold lining very cool and metallic-y looking xD
And then we had some leftover posterboard and used rub-n-buff on it and wow it made it look liek the paper was made of gold xDDD

We used gold but I definitely remember Michaels selling silver rub-n-buff right next to the gold one. All you gotta do is squirt some on to the paper, and rub it in circles with cloth (we just cut up an old shirt and wrapped it around the finger xD) Maybe try that and see if that's the effect you're going for?

You can actually get cardboard which already has a mirror finish on it (it's usually called silver card or mirror card) pretty cheaply, if that helps: http://www.amazon.co.uk/sheets-silve.../dp/B003RI7DLQ
