For Para Para I recommend getting a large clear two part ornament to wrap and glue down the fabric for the bra cups to stitch to a underbust corset. lol

Chaos_magician actually suggested a bathing suit. I don't think I can handle a corset, yikes, can't breathe, lol.

The corset is for structure rather then cinching. Corsets don't hurt to wear or are to tight, unless to cinch them in like crazy. They are made to fit you body rather then the torchur of Victorian body shaping. lol

The problem with her design is there is Zero top support, so there is the need to build the support from the midsection instead.


Nehelenia is the same as the dress would not stay up on it's own with all the fabric without straps.

I ended up ordering more fabric from Fabric.com for the white and cape fabric. THe stuff i got from Len's mill is really delicate to the point of snagging on something. I only lost $15 on these two do I'm not mad.

I ordered a Chiffon fabric in white and 2 lavender fabric, one in Peachskin and the other in Polyester Lining. I get the feeling that the Peachskin will be my fabric of choice but The lining fabric was on $5 so I got it as a backup.

Oder a $20 black corset for the dress off ebay in my size, 5XL, None of the bustiers I've tried would support the dress so a corset it is.

I'm so pumped about this, I started working on Wicked Lady's torso tonight, almost got it finished, but I need to make and attach the sleeves and finish a couple of seams before I start on the skirt.

Haven't done anymore work yet on Nehelenia but my new fabric came in the mail and freaking love it!

The Peachskin fabric is so cool, on angle it has shimmer/satin finish but reads matte when looking at it straight on. Great for a cape with a lot of flow. But I'm not doing the gathered fabric with this cape now. I might still give it a shot but I like to keep it long in flowy instead. lol

Now I'm just waiting for Arda to restock their Black wigs!

Got my Neptune cosplay today! ^_^ It didn't come w/ the tiara, so I'll be probably using the Jupiter one. I'll have to also figure something out about the choker since there is no gold things on it and it's kind of loose. I have no idea how I am going to walk in these heels. >_< XD

I'm trying to walk in these heels each day, but they hurt. I just hope I will get used to them before AN comes around.

For the heel a double up on memory foam insoles I get from the Dollarama and then on pair of Dr. Scholl's. Heels are hard to walk in but I find this helps a lot in both walking and comfort. I can only personally do boot style for more then 2 hours if they don't have straps.

Technically Nehelenia has stiletto sandals but you never see them in the anime or manga. There only seen in the production sketches are character designs. lol I wearing a pair of flats for her because the dress is so long.

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to be dying . My friend is not even practicing w/ her Uranus boot heels and the picture she showed of them from the anime looks worse than mine! o_o I don't know how she is going to do that w/o killing herself! >_<

At least their Victorian/flared heals. Stilettos at that high are just evil.

My Venus boots are close to a 2.5" incline, the heel total is 4" but has a 1.5" platform on the toes.

I also going to say you could use glass paint on the gem of the tiara to recourse it turquoises from green with a coat. They come in removable glass paints formula, Pebeo makes one and you can sometimes get some at the dollar store. Once your don't you just peel the paint off and the surface in fine. (Use them on my computers in school lol)
