I will also vouch Insanity, even though I'm still in my first run.

That would work for men only huh? What about women? What about ppl with health problem? I don't see a AHA(American Heart Association) icon anywhere on that DVD or the website...so it's not for everyone who seriously needs to lose weight. I'd have a heart attack just doing what I saw in the little sample vid

Who said men only?

Insanity is not a sexist program. You build up as you go.

Not even sure what you're getting at really.

I agree lol

Anyone with a heart problem should obviously consult their physician before beginning any strenuous exercise program.

That said, no exercise program out there is for men only or for women only.

As for the advertisement bit, if it works for you, why not tell others? I tell people about how awesome my computer parts are when the topic moves to that type of thing. I tell people how much I love certain anime series. Why should fitness programs be any different?

You nailed it, Drazhar. When you believe in something, you want to share it with other people! That being said, Insanity is really great. I haven't done it as a program, but I've done individual workouts from it, and afterwards I can actually stand in front of the mirror see my abdominal muscles defined in a way i normally can't....it's a beautiful thing! I'm a girl, and I enjoy the Insanity workouts, and consulting your doctor if you have ANY kind of health issue, well that's just common sense.

Yeah I recently tried insanity and on the third day, had a mental break down after collapsing. It's a wonderful workout, but you have to be at least a bit in sahpe to do it, or else you will have some major issues while doing it. It's not impossible, but it's definitely a good idea to build up a bit of stamina. Everything is cardio, so having some tolerence is pretty important.

I just paused the videos during month 1 when I couldn't go any further and rested for a couple of minutes. Then again, I have the time to do that.

I admit a baseline level of stamina is important, but I'm not sure how good mine was.

I will admit, I have done the insanity a few times. No I couldn't make it through without stopped for a second (whether it was to figure out the rhythm or because I was tired)

They do have a few great exercise techniques that I like to do here and there. But overall...I...I can't do video workouts.

How much is the video though? I hear its either 50.00 or 200.00 (and I googled it..theres a lot of different prices, some from websites I don't think I should trust)

Also! Were you a beginner? I hear it's also not for those just starting out? How fit were some of you when you first tried?

I went from Couch Potato to doing Insanity, major shock to the system honestly...

I'm now an extra three days behind because I had the craziest weekend in the past few years, but I exercised a LOT each day so it'll be OK for me in the long run.

So what if you don't make it through without stopping every now and again, very few people do! Watch the folks in the background, they're taking breaks while they're FILMING for crying out loud! It's expected that you'll need to stop sometimes, you just keep doing YOUR best.

You can get it real cheap on craigslist, the Beachbody price I believe is 130+ shipping.

or 3 payments of 39.95 + shipping.

somethin like that.
