Okay, I'm honestly not sure if this is the right subcategory to file this question in, so if not someone tell me and i'll move it over to the proper thread.

Anyway, I've heard of people using false nails to make cosplay teeth with. (Such as Grell's from Kuroshitsuji.) Anyway, would denture adhesive work to make those stick to your teeth? If so, what kind do you think would have the best effect? Denture adhesive comes in powder, cremes and strips so I'm not really sure what kind would work. I was thinking the strips cause I picture them being like saliva-proof double-sided tape. Not sure though, I haven't had any experience with this kind of stuff. Anyone know what the best bet would be?

Denture adhesive is really more designed to bond to moist gums than to teeth. The creams and powders are actually not very adhesive at all. They rely largely on forming a vacuum-seal of the dentures to the gumline.

The seabond type denture strips I believe are closer to a true adhesive effect, but I've never had the chance to play with them to know how effective they are.

I would instead recommend a temporary filling material, such as Dentemp. It is designed to adhere to tooth material, but still be easily scratched off.

Remember, just don't try to eat anything while wearing temporary fangs. Drinking is generally fine, just be careful about it.
