Just got an Arda Cady wig for my Vergil cosplay. It's my first lacefront--so I was all excited. But I just realized that it doesn't have any ear flaps and pushes my ears into a weird ugly position (folded over dog-like) and shows my sideburns....
What do I do??? |

Trim the section here you ear should be. Put the wigs on inside out and draw where your ears join your head. This is where you cut to fit your ears the mesh only.
I have this problem with other wigs can you tell. Most wig are made smoothly without side burn areas or small aide. You trimmings you can sew the wefts back in to side you new edge.

Ahh someone else who owns the cady!
I have exactly the same problem as you! I haven't done anything about the squashed ears but for the showing of my sideburns I went and got myself a set of short wefts and hand ventilated it in at the bottom edges of the lace and then cut it to the right length that I wanted you can see it in this pic here http://www.cosplay.com/photo/3289206/

I like how it turned out wolfspeaker!
You need the proper tools to ventilate lace. The needles. You need one that does 1 and 2 hairs at a time for a lace front. http://www.hisandher.com/Ventilation_Needles-list.aspx And the holder for the needle. http://www.hisandher.com/Ventilation_Holder-list.aspx Here's a tutorial on how to tie your hairs. http://www.makeup-fx.com/Perukeng.html
