Hair Management MtF

I'm crossplaying Yui Hirasawa in 3 months time. Who's got a good way to manage body hair? I'm testing out how shaving is working and it feels unsatisfactory to me. i know i'm going to switch methods, but not sure which to switch to. Would waxing or hair removal cream be better? I am really considering the waxing even though it might be a lot more painful initially.

Thanks in advance.

I would reccommend waxing. If you crossplay often, I would especially reccommend it. Talking from experience, it does hurt quite a bit the first time. xD I'm not going to lie to you on that. Though if you stick to it, it hurts less every time. Now when I go in to get waxed (eyebrows, for example), it doesn't hurt at all. o3o Shaving can often be unsatisfactory. You can get razor burn, and the hair grows back more quickly.

Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I will do the wax then.

if you really want, you can go with a more permanent solution.

Though I wouldn't recommend it. It sounds painful.

Since Yui does wear tights (I'm assuming you're doing the school uniform?) you shouldn't need to be worried about getting absolutely all hair gone. All I did for my Yui crossplay was shave the day of and the tights covered up any remaining hair.

A friend of mine used Nair. Burns hellishly, apparently, and we got lots of laughs out of his suffering, but it is effective if you don't want to wax.

Hair removal cream is more comfortable, but I use half a bottle whenever I use it, so I have this moisturising cream which stunts the hair growth as well. If you use it every night, then it shouldn't grow back for a while.

I find that a good shave, and lotioning over time is great, personally. But I'm not a fucking bear or anything, so yeah.

I use moom, which is sort of like waxing. It doesn't hurt at all. I think you don't really need to manage body hair as Yui at all!

i will be just plain crossdressing during the day/hours directly preceding changing into the yui outfit. so hair feels like an issue for me.

I guess I've always been lucky in the fact I've always had almost hairless legs/chest etc. But managing facial hair is always the challenge for me, I've done a few test crossplays so far doing the best/closest facial shave possible, and its completely not satisfactory for me so I'm also thinking about more methods.

I've never had an issue outside of simple shaving. New razor, shaving cream and some time and I'm good to go. If let a few days go by prior to doing it, you will get a much result instead of doing it on a daily basis.

I use a "Philips Bodygroom" (an electric razor designed to be used below the neck). I always get good results and have never got any razor burns. It’s as smooth as your regular facial (non-electric) razor, and it’s a lot faster.
So if you only need a hairless body for a day or two, I recommend you to get a Bodygroom.

You can try waxing strips, they're basically strips with wax that you warm up and then use directly. It's less messy than "normal" waxing, but the quality of the brand, sufficient warming of the strips and practice are all factors that affect the result. I like it a lot better than shaving, that's for sure. No more cactus legs and dark stubble xD It's just time-consuming, but it last a LOT longer than shaving.

Waxing hurts the first time, and then you get used to it. If you've plucked anything before, it should feel like a strip of stings... Other than that, I find it to be effective for a long while. Are you talking about body hair in general, or just leg/arm hair? I find the legs are less sensitive than pretty much every other hair-growing part of your anatomy so feel free to try anything listed.
