Fight Scene Length
So I just got done recording our skit audio and it turns out we have about 45 secs leftover. We have time for 1 fight scene between 5 Monster Hunters (2/3 of which are very limited in mobility due to armor) and 1 monster. How long is tasteful for a fight scene similar to this? I don't want to lose the audience. I was thinking about 15 seconds would be short and sweet enough (mind you the monster's death scene has already been accounted for).
Thanks in advance!

Leave your audience wanting more; don't feel obliged to use up every second of your timeslot.
Particularly if it would be a difficult or awkward bit of choreography to do. |

Generally, you start to loose your audience around 30 seconds into a skit if you're not interesting enough (sometimes sooner).
BUT Like tereshkova said, you don't need to use the full time limit for your skit. (I've done that several times in the past) Just do what you want and don't try to force extra material if it's not needed. I hope that helps and I wish you luck.

Just going to echo what's already been said. Just because you are given a time limit doesn't mean you should use it all. The best presentations I've seen have been a minute or less to be honest with you.

As noted above, build up is fine but getting straight to the punchline is the general focus of all skits.

Hey all we got done with our skit and got 2nd place so it's not all bad. I am open to any and all criticism since I'm very inexperienced with skits. My biggest frustration is that my range of motion in my armor (I'm the one with the red hair talking) makes me look SOOOOOOO stiff when trying to emote. Thanks for your time.
