Where do you keep your cosplay?

Especially those of you who have a lot of costumes...seriously, where?

I have a lot of costumes as well, and they're sort of piling up. I'm currently keeping all my costumes in plastic bins, but, well, that's not proving to be a great choice, as it's incredibly irritating constantly having to move plastic bins around everywhere (because also, they're heavy.)

How do you guys keep your cosplay storage (mostly) aggravation-free? :/

Currently, I keep them in a combination of my closet, and two plastic bins. However, if it were up to me, I'd keep them all in my closet. The problem? My mother has laid claim to half my closet. -w-

We converted a bedroom into a cosplay workshop, so there's plenty of space to go around, even considering there's 40+ costumes in that closet and a couple 7ft+ sized props on various tables.

I use a single plastic bin(but it's pretty big), and yes. It's such a pain to have to move and open and get things out of! I don't really have another option, though.

I put mine in boxes or vacuum bags and stuff them under my roommate's bed. (: I don't think she's noticed.

Clothes go in the closet on hangers while the accessories go the shelf in a bin in the closet. The shoes lie on the bottom rack in my closet. Any large/breakable/unstable props go in the shelves of my desk.^^

Folded neatly in my dresser...it would be nice to hang them in the closet, but the peculiar design of the closet in that there is no divider between mine and my dad's side of the closet means he can see what hangs on my side. It wouldn't be a big deal if not for the fact that he's not exactly a fan of me cross-playing

For me it depends on the costume. Full cloth costumes go into garment bags and hang in the hallway closet, costumes with hard goods (helmets and such) or armored costumes go into plastic tubs that reside either in my bedroom closet or the hallway closet.

I have a huge rolling rack in my living room where I sew to hang everything on. If the pieces won't hang, they are folded and kept in one of those plastic sets of drawers. Shoes go in my room or in a container (depending on if they are shoes I can wear outside of cosplay) and wigs are either stored on wig heads on a table near the costumes or in their plastic bags in the set of drawers.

I placed mine in a suitcase inside of the closet. I don't hang them since I need room for everyday and casual clothes. :3

Most of my costumes hang up in the closet. Accessories and props really don't have a place at the moment. Shoes are placed at the bottom of the closet. Petticoats and hoops are usually placed under my bed.

I'm /mostly/ organized. xD

In a magical ideal world everything would be hanging in the closet and all the props and armor bits would be stored nicely in plastic containers but the truth is far far worst. The really complex stuff is hanging nicely in a plastic cover, everything else on the other hand well...is kind of in "piles" I have a coat pile, a hat pile, a gun pile sitting on a shelf, heck I even have the armor pile which is really just one armored costume sitting in it's own sadness and shame... anyways and the rest of the props are stored in a plastic bin that is overflowing and kind of just there now in it's own pile...man I need to get more bins later...
