Question God Save the Queen Fasions?

From what I've heard, God Save the Queen Fashions produces costumes that are just perfect. Everyone raves about them. I'm debating trying to snag a spot for 2015, but I can't find any information on pricing. A few people have mentioned the high costs, but I'm wondering how high wer're talking. Can anyone here provide any information on their pricing, particularly when it comes to simpler costumes (almost no accessories, no armor, no leather, etc)?

I'd shoot them an email, but it sounds like they're hard to get ahold of for general inquiries.

Sorry for any typos btw. I'm posting this with my phone.

Well as far as pricing, I believe they are quite high..LOike higher than most of the commissioners on here..This is because they are a big business rather than just taking commissions here and there and trying to look for commissions to do..They are the type that are the upmost professional style and quality and are usually swamped from what I hear. I think it's safe to say that any commissioner you get a quote from on here will be quite less than what these guys will ask. But no one but them can really tell you anything about pricing..Pricing is different for every cosplay..In commissions there's really no "a princess dress is $X, and full armor is $X or something.

Yup. Each costume is a custom request, so each costume has a custom price.

I would try and get a hold of them if you want a quote but prepared for a big price since I hear they are pricey. You could always turn them down if need be or they might even allow payment plans for all I know not sure.

Fully agree, they are the only ones who can give you an accurate quote. And because they are a business with multiple people working there, the cost of any commission will reflect that.

Unfortunately I've heard they don't answer general questions because they're always so busy. I'll try, but I was hoping someone here might have commissioned them before. Of course there are no set prices, but I'd love to know if we're talking, like, $300 for a simple costume or $500-$600.

She posted on Facebook that she is going to be reading and responding to emails regarding 2015 commissions. So if you still want a quote, I would shoot her an email.

I would see if they have a commissions form to fill out and just fill it out and send it in. I think that's best approach.

I get a lot of emails and I go through them at a set time and respond even if it's a no for whatever reason. Maybe they follow that same protocol but respond less often? not sure.

You're probably looking at minimum over 1,000 for a full costume. She has bills, employees, and rent to pay, and is a very high caliber, educated seamstress.
