One Piece Prop Help

So at Otafest 2013, and possibly Anime Expo if I manage to go, I'm planning on going as Luffy when he's wearing his outfit from One Piece Film Z. He has 2 layers, his regular clothes with the vest and shorts, and then the giant coat with the meat prop. My biggest concern is the meat prop. Does anyone know how to make this giant meat prop, in which it is capable of breaking into smaller parts, and with what materials could this be possible with?

carved spray foam, or maybe not carved, it is a rather amorphous lump.

Not sure what this means. Do you mean disassemble for travel? or is there something in the character/ show where said meat does something like smother enemies? Disassemble for travel is a tad more do-able, but it is an awfully large mass in the center.....

Yes, sorry for making it sound confusing, but that's what I meant. But in the movie, it's generally just a regular piece of meat, seeing as Luffy is the typical big eater he is XD Even so, at the very least, I would just want to disassemble the bones on both sides, as it would be bothersome if they were part of it and ended up breaking, because I am considering taking it along to travel sometime later in Summer 2013

So I'm gonna say spray insulation foam for the meat w a PVC rod going through. Have the PVC end where the bones go in. Make those out of PVC (slightly smaller so that it'll fit and an hold at con) and spray foam. They should b able to ship that way.
