I have been wanting to cosplay as human form Midna for the LONGEST time. I finally am going to wear it for a con next summer.

The only thing I am iffy about is whether I should wear a zentai suit or just use regular body paint?

I feel like a zentai suit doesn't look realistic at all. Not to mention that turtle neck part that doesn't blend in well when people put on face paint. It sticks out too much and that would definitely irritate me.

What do you guys think? Would it be better to use a zentai suit or body paint? In reality, all I would have to paint is my face, stomach, chest, legs and fingers (and maybe my forearm).

A friend of mine says that body paint would take way too long. I am not familiar with using body paint, so of course I am not familiar with the steps to take when using it.

I am at a loss here. Help?

Someone told me once, it would take at least 2-3h to bodypaint Midna. But I've seen some cosplayer who made the black part out of fabric and just painted their body white. (A lot less work.)
