We are happy to announce the return of our Friday Closet Cosplay Contest. So if you're still not where you want to be in the craftsmanship and fabrication skills department, you'll have an opportunity to display and compete for a prize for your Closet Cosplays or other costumes that do not quite fit the criteria for the Main contest.

Not directly costume/cosplay related, but passing the word from the Director of Artist's Alley:

Artists Alley registration for MomoCon 2013 will be available on Oct. 17th, 9pm EST via http://www.momocon.com/artists/ through a form. Reservations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis in 2013.

Available space for artists in 2013 is significantly increased due to excess demand. We will be auditing our application process in 2013 for improvements in 2014.

Artists who are accepted will be able to purchase a 6 foot table with 4 feet behind clearance with two chairs for $100 (this includes 2 weekend memberships).

The Artists Alley will be located in the same location as the Dealers Room, the bottom floor of the Hilton Atlanta. Due to its location, the AA will keep the same hours as the Dealers Room.

Saturday - 10am-7pm
Sunday - 10am-5pm

Crunchyroll will be giving away a 1 year membership to a winner in the Saturday costume contest. Just bring out your best costume of a character in a currently streaming Crunchyroll show, and you have a chance to win. We will post more details closer to the actual convention, but its never too early to plan a great cosplay!
