I don't think the purpose of the thread was to soapbox one's viewpoint.

What? Yeah, where did this come from?

Whatever.

I'm both, because us human beings are complicated individuals, but I dont' mean complicated like above. I... not to be mean that makes fuck all sense. But human emotions and reactions don't into to black and white, yes and no, binnary options.

It's not complicated-- it's a simple philosophy that many people think is complicated. Positivity and negativity are still thoughts and viewpoints-- they keep the mind distracted and unable to grasp reality.

What I'm trying to say is that one shouldn't have to be positive or negative. Of course it's something just to try, not something anyone needs to adhere to if they feel it's not the truth. Just look at things as how they are, acknowledge, and move on. Thoughts cause pain, as strange as it sounds.

Not that you're wrong, either. I agree with you entirely about human emotions simply not being black or white, and taking a rational approach.

Because you know, there simply isn't a shortage of people here that want to fight over the most trivial of things.

If people ask me whether the cup is half empty or half full first I must gather data. What is in the cup? Is it fruit punch? Then it's half empty. You better fill that up man. I want as much fruit punch as I can possibly fit into my goddamn cup. Is it tobacco-spit? If so its it's half full. Careful there. Don't get more in that cup or else it might spill on someone's new shoes and that'll be really gross.

Context man. Context. Which is why I am actually a multiplication sign.

I'm usually pretty pessimistic, except for those times when something really good happens to me and I get a swelled head for a few days. xD

I'm a bit too positive. Always bouncy and smiling xD My friends seem to think it's charming and admirable, but I have a feeling I just get on everyone else's nerves xD
