SyFabrics minky sherpa fabric review

After looking for a furry/fluffy trim for my Kyoko Sakura cosplay to no avail, I heard about I saw two products I really liked, and since swatches were only $1 each with free shipping, I ordered one of each. One was a faux fur, and the other was a faux sherpa lambs wool (they call is "minky sherpa lambs wool"). The faux fur turned out to be really cheap (not in the good way), but the minky sherpa was perfect. It was incredibly soft and beautiful, much nicer than other sherpa I've seen from big-name fabric stores, so I gladly ordered a yard.
I absolutely love it. My only complaint (and this is about the site in general, not the fabric itself) is that the least you can order is one yard, which is far more than I need to use. The shipping is also expensive. It's a flat-rate of $10.95 for US orders (unless you're only ordering swatches, in which case shipping is free), which is great if you're ordering yards upon yards of fabric, but considering I didn't order a lot, it was a bit annoying.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with this fabric. If you're planning on ordering from this site, though, I would recommend ordering swatches first and making sure the quality is good, as it seems their fabrics can range from cheap-looking to amazing.
2016 cons: Ohayocon, ACen, Anime Expo, Otakon
