Cool Storing Spiky Wigs

So I styled a spiky wig last year and it has been sitting in a box on a wig head since after the con last year...

Does anyone here have any methods of storing spiky wigs?
I heard that there was a way where the wig was flipped inside out and the spikes would stay in place.
My spikes are super big ones and held up by hairspray.

Any tips would be good!
Or am I doomed to have to sit like that without damaging the styling?

Small thin spikes are fine to flip the wig inside out. But since you spike are larger to you to leave int in a box as the styling is more solid and heavy.

Unfortunately, being kept in a box where it won't be crushed by anything else is pretty much your only option, aside from sitting it on a wig head somewhere in your room, staring at you soullessly as you go to sleep every night.

I've stored heavily spiked wigs in shoeboxes before and haven't had a problem with them otherwise. I just gently place the hair net the original wig came with over it and carefully place it inside to make sure it's not getting squished. Depending on how long you store it and what product you use, you might need to touch up the spikes a with a bit of product the next time you use it.

A shoebox is a great idea! That means I can take it off the wig head so I can use it.
I'll find a nice sturdy one and see if that works. Thanks!
