How to bus there from Union Station?

So, if I do get to go, I would be taking the Metrolink to get to L.A. However, I have NO IDEA what to do from there, and since I have never been to PMX before, I think I would easily get lost ^.^; So I was wondering, anyone else know how to get to PMX from Union Station?

You can use Flyaway bus to LAX from Union Station. They leave every 30mins 24hrs a day for $7 each way.

I assume finding PMX won't be too hard. Just a little walking....

Maybe you will be the only cosplayer, maybe you won't. I've taken the Flyaway several times for either PMX or Anime LA.

The LAX Flyaway bus will drop you off at the curb for departures, which is on the second story of the building. You'll have to go inside the airport and take stairs or an elevator down to the first floor, because everything leaving LAX is at the area for arrivals. Walk outside and find the area where the shuttle buses pick up hotel passengers. If you get lost, you can ask a guide that works at the airport.

The hotel shuttles are free. Get on the one that takes you to the Hilton.

You can also take the hotel shuttle back to the airport. The driver will ask you which airline you're taking, but you can tell him anything - all it affects is where you get dropped off. If you want to get off at the first drop-off spot, you can just say so. (I usually just tell them Southwest.)

You can take the Flyaway back to Union Station, but be aware that there are THREE different Flyaway buses! Specifically check to make sure that you are getting on the one going to Union Station, otherwise you'll end up far from where you want to be!

Oh, thank you! Good to know there are others who use it to get to PMX. Hotel shuttles are free? Neat. And I don't have to be staying at the hotel, right? LOL. I will probably just attend for one day.

No, you don't have to be staying at the hotel to use the shuttles. But if you only go for one day, you might want to check the timetables of all this commuting to make sure it's realistic and so you know how much time you can actually spend at the con. Especially since you said you'll be taking Metrolink. Their schedules are very limited, particularly on the weekend.

I would most likely go on a Friday or Saturday. Yes, I will definitely check the schedules. I *might* be able to have my dad take me on Friday, but if not, I want the Metro option open if I decide for Sunday. Thank you very much! This helps a lot. ^.^
