Afro under a wig?

My boyfriend has a mini-afro and he wants to cosplay Kaito, but his mini-fro makes his head too big to fit the wig. We have tried flattening his hair and we still cannot get that blasted wig on his head! We tried all of my wigs to see if the Kaito wig is abnormally small, and none of my wigs would fit him either. What should we do?

It could be that he just has a large head, even without the fro. Wigs are not one size fits all. Most brands are fine if you have a smaller head or an average-sized head with short and/or thin hair, but people with big heads and/or thick, long hair won't fit in them.

Check out Arda Wigs with your boyfriend. Their wigs are sized larger to accommodate bigger heads and lots of hair.

I second braiding, regardless of the wig brand. tight, small corn rows should help significantly.
