Cosplay.Com's Punky Wig...
It's gone!
It's been gone since the store's revamp but I've been optimistic about it just being a temporary issue, however I'm now certain it's just gone for good. The Punky wig has been VERY useful for me and I wanted to order at least a dozen more of them (I do cosplay commissions and they were necessary, as well as for myself) and now I'm just not sure what to do. I can't find any other recommended wig sites with anything similar. The type of volume it effortlessly achieved was perfect. /sigh; Really, does anyone know anywhere else those wigs are sold or something similar to it? I could REALLY use the help...

It's temporary, we'll have it up again shortly. With our restock we've been working on a bunch of things store-related so we took a few things down that weren't related to our main wig line.
Most likely it'll be back up this weekend. |

The Punky and Punky XL are New Look brand wigs; if you search for wig shops (online or otherwise) that carry that line, you ought to find some other storefronts too that carry them.

I'm not 100% on how good the or thick the punky is here, but if you need one real soon the Jereth from Arda wigs is basically the same thing. I own 2 and they are really thick.
In fact <----That's one in my avatar EDIT: Wait..Actually I do..I forgot my first Sora (KH2) wig was a brown punky wig. It was bought off the old coswox line. It was pretty thin. Not TOO bad..But the jereth is thicker (provided the punky is the same way

Yeah, the Punky is a New Look wig, and there are a lot of wig sellers that carry those. Thewigs.com and Amphigory should have it as well. FYI for the future if they're sold out or have discontinued any New Look wigs right when you need it the fastest.

But anyway, Jareth isn't what I'd be looking for. It's terribly flat and the very reason I love punky so much is because it has such a perfect amount of volume without any kind of spiking whatsoever. But thanks for your input. And thank you to ShinobiXikyu and CapsuleCorp! I didn't know the brand and I'll definitely keep that in mind just in case. n_n

I recommend Cosplaysupplies for them. After issues with both Amphigory and Cosplay.com shop, I ended up trying there. I've bought around 12 from them so far and they ship very fast and I've gotten the wigs in a week or less.

No problem, glad I could help. Like you I prefer the punky compared to other wigs for certain styles. So I was really happy that I found out they sold punky and accept paypal.

I would find somewhere else to order the Punky wig. Coscom has been making more promises about improving their rather abysmal service, but given their track record, I would take that all with a grain of salt.

^ I think OP would be fine ordering from here as I've ordered two wigs from them in the past 4 months (since the problems started) and had no problems with the shipping. Admin also replied to all questions I had quickly and the wigs were good quality. However I have seen the Punky on several other sites so you can get them wherever you like.

cosplaysupplies.com is the best place to order newlook brand wigs from that I've found. Most reliable for sure. And i know what you mean about the punky wig being the easiest to spike up. the arda ones require backcombing in my experience, even tho they are a bit thicker to start out they definitely take a bit longer to style.
I've also been interested in but haven't tried the spikey style from epiccosplay.com. they have a short scruffy style that they say is good for spiking and there is a longer one in white and a few other colours that looks exactly like a punky wig at the top (i think it was made for a certain naruto char) Next time they have a sale im thinking about the white one just to compare.
