im planning to do yuuki kuran from vampire knight and have started on the cosplay already but need a few details ironed out. First with her scythe im doing the blade of it in foam board and the handle with a pvc pipe. ive seen most cosplayers use tin foil to cover it but i was planning on using matalic paint. is there any reason why i shouldnt use the paint? im worried sense ive seen no one else use it before.

my second issue is the school uniform i ordered for it apparently wont be making it in time for oni con but i do have a white dress simular to the one she wares in the opening of guilty. shes never accually seen in her vampire form wareing the dress only her human so would that be to far off base to pass. should i wait till ikki con and i have the uniform to brake this cosplay in or would i be safe as it is

1)many people do it w metallic paint.... Ull b find
2)if its kinda similar u should b fine but u may not get recognized
