Hey guys!

I am in need of a Daenerys Targaryen Khaleesi pattern. I am not too amazing at making patterns and usually do better when I have one. If anyone could be of any help that would be awesome. Any patterns made by other cosplayers? I will be sure to give full credit to you.

I know Kudrel just did a lovely Khaleesi. I think her dress was simply pleated, draped fabric.

Actually, I'm working on a Daenerys cosplay myself: her outfit in the Red Waste. The top is a similar cut, though the detail isn't exactly the same. I didn't use a pattern... the garment looks like a wrap top, so I just wrapped the fabric around my torso, pinned it to a strapless bra (which I used as the base), had a friend help me with chalk marking the basic shape, and cut it carefully. I then handstitched the fabric to the bra. For the braided trim/halter tie, I cut strips of cotton and braided them, but this version might look better with thick braided cord.
