After 3 1/2 years, I still haven't dressed up my boyfriend. He isn't totally into it, though he likes dressing up together for Halloween. I think maybe 2013 will be the year I make a costume or two for him, to match what I'm planning. He's tall and lanky, so he'd match a lot of anime characters!

ahh couples cosplays can be SO CUTE. I'm possibly going to do a Hawkeye movie-verse outfit for next summer to match my bf's Black Widow he did back in August. I was Iron Man for that one, which is still a ship, but...yea, not the same.
Also done Rukia and Ichigo with my ex several years ago. He bleached his hair orange instead of wearing a wig. XD
And one of my first was Duo and Heero with my other ex. XD That was really easy though. We did a femslash/crossplay version kinda. It was like...lazy crossplay without binding, but gay couple. Yeah. Also met a cute gay dude couple who were also Duo and Heero.

I feel lucky to have a bf who costumes! And supports and helps me in my costuming. Some other couple cosplays I'd like to do are Rogue and Gambit, Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, and maybe either Mario and Peach or something like that.

His name is Helio, and I laid out a story with him in which he loves Rosalina. My friend really liked this character and his story. She thought that Helio was hot, and that he and Rosalina are cute together~ ^3^

Now she wants her bf to cosplay him while she'll be Rosalina. x3

If I were Lan Fan, he could be my Ling Yao.
If I were Sakura, he could be my Syaoran.
If I were Mayushii, he could be my Okarin (I ship this, yes).
If I were Korra, he could be my Bolin (I ship this, too).

Though I'd be opened to doing this with a guyfriend, too, or a guy who wants a cosplaying partner (and we'd probably end up friend anyway XD).

Haha, that'd be hilarious! Yes, it is pretty diehard. I think it's so crazy though. I personally like KaitoxMeiko, but I don't mind other ships. They're Vocaloids, there are no canons. It all depends on the song and the story the songwriter is composing. XD!!

Depending on the story that's told, they always change roles.

I would just like to see my boyfriend cosplay in general, or at least see him do a cosplay that he finds some interest in. A lot of times before he's stated how he wants to do so-and-so cosplay and I've drawn out the finances for it only for him to back down when he seems suddenly put off by the idea.

He loves going to cons, but I think he's so not used to going outside the things that he knows that he shys away easily from things like cosplay. I'm hoping to help nudge him in the right direction slowly. I know there's a Darth Revan cosplay he was looking at getting so maybe I'll surprise him with that for Christmas or something. It certainly doesn't have to coincide with my cosplay, so long as he's having fun.

Exactly~ XD Everything is fanon, some more popular than others, but none of it is canon, which is why I just don't get all the flame wars.
