Shin Sekai Yori cosplay?

I just saw the first episode of this odd but interesting show and think it deserves cosplaying! But how exactly might one make those school uniforms?

It looks like a kimono style top with short or no sleeves and the obi has the ribbon at the front adornede with skirt or pants for bottoms and then the jacket seems simple enough ^w^ Though the back shows lots of contouring seams.

Down the rabbit whole. I felt so confused/lost by the history flashes until episode 4 put them in context. Makes we want to re-watch the first 3 episodes.

Yes the shirts are strange the top are a 2 layer kimono style with an obi to tie it closed and then a vest with a sailor collar over top of it with buttons.lol That's a lot of layers.

I would make the under layers a one piece shirt with a zipper up the back personally.

indeed! i've been contemplating on cosplaying from this wonderful (yet sometimes confusing) series. but in case you need some reference for their uniforms, here are some official pics. i'm thinking of either cosplaying shun or satoru like... around next year? katsucon hopefully.

Thank you for that! I'm really wanting to pick an outfit from this show since it's so.. WEIRD and I can't stop watching it and help.
I'm thinking I could pull off Maria well

Also I absolutely love that everything is shippable in this show. Everything.

I would like to cosplay Saki, glad to see that the uniforms are appearing on websites. I think 'll wait and see a bit more, as I've read some mixed reviews about cosplaysky. :T

You also might wan to contact the ebay seller cosplayfly2010 to see if they have the girls versions. Changes are they do as the manufacturer probably does both and this seller has not listed them yet.
