Girls: What are your thoughts on bunny girl outfits?

You know, those bunny suits in most anime. Here are just a few examples:

http://safebooru.org//images/776/d5e...1d3827f002.jpg
http://safebooru.org//samples/566/sa...1216cd2f.jp g

Now to any girls on here, I want to hear what your thoughts on them are. Do you think that they're really cute? Or way too slutty?

Have you worn one at a con before? If so, what character/series was it? Were you fine with it, or have you ever felt kinda embarassed about wearing it at a con? D:

And if you ask me, almost every cute girl should wear them on every Easter, don't you think? =w=;;

If I attended cons, I would not wear the bunny outfit to a con... People just don't have a concept of personal space >___<

I'm fine with it as cosplay, though. In fact, Haruhi Suzumiya's bunny girl outfit is somewhere (very low...) on my want-to cosplay list, since I also happen to want to record a cover of the song "God knows..." which is apparently the scene when that outfit appeared. I don't have any illusions about the outfit being about anything but sex appeal, though.

No to the Easter, though. I may have a poor record of showing up on Sundays but I'm still Catholic. I can't stop anyone from waltzing around in a bunny girl outfit, but it's just poor taste to show up in a church wearing one.

I like them! I want to cosplay a character who wore a purple one for awhile. I find them to express a sense of bold statement some want to show. When I find out how to make one I going to a con with it on.

Others can do whatever they want, but you probably won't catch me wearing one. I like to be a little more covered up, even if I do wear something a bit sexy.

I'm fine with them if it is because an anime character was wearing one. I don't so much like when people create a "bunny suit" based off a character that would never wear a bunny suit, like a comic book hero or male character. I have seen it done.

Oh well, don't really care if others like them, but they are absolutely not my thing. At all.
And as for ''cute girls'' having to wear them around Easter... Urgh, on many different layers.
But yeah, I do get that it was meant humorously, okay? |D

Otherwise I basically agree with natsuo~

PLEASE tell me you're joking.

Anyways, I have no qualms with bunny girl outfits as a cosplay if it's either a canon outfit (Mikuru and Haruhi from the Melancholy of Haruhi suzumiya), or it's really something the character would wear. It's really never something I would wear, but I don't really care too much about what other people cosplay. XD

I personally don't have a problem with them and think they're cute, but regardless of that, you should do it if you want to do it. :3 As long as you're not breaking any con rules like nudity and such, then go for it.

As for the Easter thing... nope.

I don't have a problem with them, although I myself would not wear it unless it has a skirt. I kinda would'nt mind other cosplayers wearing it.

They're okay. For people that aren't afraid to show their body but seeing as I hate my hips/legs in general I doubt I'd wear the outfit. It's one of the reasons why I prefer MALE characters than doing female cosplays. But really...That last line? Nah man. Easter, and any outfit should be for everyone, not just people who are "cute" in your standards (namely just people who are comfortable in that kind of outfit). But really, they're "Okay." I wouldn't go oggle them, though prefer girls to boys.

I don't mind them at all. On the right person they are extremely sexy. If I had the body of a 1940s pin-up and knew a character I wanted to cosplay that wore one, I would consider it. But I agree with natsuo about it. I don't like when people do a bunny girl outfit for a character that never wore one.

And like everyone else, please tell me that was a joke about wearing them on Easter...

Wow. Turn down the creepy-ness.

No, they aren't slutty at all. More power to the girls who do wear them, I don't think I would!

I'll be wearing one at AnimeUSA next weekend. I'm a little (a lot) nervous about it, so we'll see how it goes.
