Hmm. Just heard of this con and my group is seriously considering going. No idea what we'll be wearing though!

Would anyone happen to know the size of this convention? From what I gather, this will be the second run for it so I gather it's fairly small, but I couldn't find a concrete number (or even a generalized number). I usually don't care, but it's a good 2 1/2 hours from my house and would require a hotel for the weekend.

It would be nice, since I have no conventions on my list for this time period and having a convention in the winter is wonderful since my group's costumes are blazing hot.

Confirmed that we're going, so I'll go ahead and post on behalf of my group:

Saturday - Black Cat (Shiki and Charden Flamberg)
Sunday - San Francisco Giants (Brandon Belt and Buster Posey)

Really looking forward to this! I haven't been to a con since this summer.

Edited for schedule and cosplay changes!

It was really tiny last year. That said, everyone was really nice, trying hard to run a good con, and it was relaxing.

I won't be attending this year because life is a bit too busy that weekend, but it was fun last year. I liked the food offerings on the grounds.

It'll be our first time at this con and we'll be checking it out.

I hope its funn.

i should put what we're going as i guess-.
We're not sure if we're attending the whole thing, but here are some possible cosplays.

Anydays.
MLP; rainbowdash(me), rarity, fluttershy
YGO:Malik, Bakura, Mokuba(me possibly)

personal cosplays for me not in a group would be either
Cornet Espoir and Bulma Briefs, possibly a very casual jade harley.

They changed the location from what I heard, so it might be different from last year. It's going to be at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel. The location looks amazing and I can't wait to go. Also there's gonna be (maybe 2) gathering I'm in charge of! It's a Vocaloid gathering, so if any of you are cosplaying as vocaloids on Friday you should check out the AnimeIcon Facebook forums. I'll be posting a thread on here as well about the gathering. Here's my line-up for AnimeIcon:
Day 1: Love is War Gumi
Day 2: Aoki Lapis
Day 3: Maka(Soul Eater)/Hungary(Hetalia) Military Uniform Version

I'll be attending. The con was during the summer last year and was held mostly outdoors. I'm glad it's at a hotel now or we'd be freezing. XD
Will be performing with Angel Hearts on Saturday and Sunday in the maid cafe!
