Clayface - DC Universe/Batman

I have been thinking a long time on a Cosplay idea that would fit my body frame along with something creative, unique, and a character I enjoyed.

All of these come to the conclusion:

The key parts I see coming from this build will be:

Body suit with internal harness, possible ventilation/fan system needed.
Removable head piece with see thru area positioned within characters mouth
Oversized hands with mechanics for open/close of each digit.

This is a build that I would hope to finish by San Diego Comic-Con 2014 (so July 2014) If sooner then awesome but as this is a learning experience I don't want to rush things.

At this time I am considering materials. The main bulk of this has to be of a material that looks organic, there should be flows, curves, and folds.

I am looking for people who have experience with large builds and can suggest where to start with this task.

Thank you all, I am excited to start work!
