I'm hoping to have time for Sabin this weekend but with a new Bleach cosplay planned, and Al Mualim from the first Assassin's Creed in the works, it's iffy at this point. I'll definately try to work something in though even though it'll probably be the sprite version

I don't mind an 11am shoot on Saturday. Realistically, setting a time for 12noon onward would mean clashing with other groups for the same meeting place. Even if some people don't show till 11:30 there would be enough to sort of "hold the area"?

I was thinking the smartest thing to do was pick out one of the more out of the way hallways that remains clear. If we wanted to start at a more known location and move, that's fine, but otherwise everyone will be wandering straight through the shoot.

If I can get a fourth cosplay together in time, I'll be there as Rinoa! I might be dragging along my Squall, but I'm not sure if he'll be able to make it to Katsucon this year or not.

One potential problem with that location... the windows are going to provide a lot of backlighting at that time of day. Pictures taken towards the windows, from the direction of the space in front of the fountains, are likely to result in photos where the costumes are shadowed and hard to see, maybe even silohuetted completely. Which can be a fun effect, but if you want to see costume details, we'd want to shoot pics somewhere else where there won't be a bunch of bright light behind the cosplayers too.

Unless the photographers are supposed to stand against the windows and the cosplayers have their backs to the fountain? Not sure there's enough room for that...

@Andrea- I think we're just coming up with an initial meeting spot then moving to a more suitable location ( hopefully not too far away so people can still find us). At least I thought that was the original plan.

Ah, okay. In that case, no prob. Honestly no prob with it either way, just staying there probably won't yield the best pics... but I was already planning on pulling some folks aside for pics elsewhere.
