Detailing Leather With Ink?

Hello, my posts in the tutorial area have been very prevalent. I had a question about what kind of paint/ink worked for those who had to add details to leather/pleather. I am taking the short route of drawing on stitches on leather shoes instead of making actual stitching on it. Has anyone done work like this before? What would you suggest? Appreciate it a bunch!

How about fabric paint? It's pretty durable and flexible. If they're big stitches you can use 3D fabric paint to make the lines. Or you can just take a thin brush and paint them on that way.
