I've done Gambit in the past, and I'm still working on improving my costume. My girlfriend cosplays as Rogue, so we do the whole couple thing--we get asked to take our pictures a lot.

I might be interested in doing Spider-Man someday... but I'm still not sure how willing I am to walk around all with a mask all day; it must get hot.

Plenty more in the build thread.

Also here is my first Iron Fist I did for 2012:

You look like..... not real.
The shadows, the muscles, the poses, are you sure you didn't just fall into our reality from some Iron-Fist-Goes-To-Comic-Cons-Cosplaying-Himself Reality?

Hey everyone!

I just made my first ever cosplay appearance as Deadpool.
The reason I wanted to do Deadpool was:
1) I like all the weapons he carries
2) His fun and sarcastic attitude was ideal for a fun YouTube video I was going (and did) shoot
3) I really wanted to make a more realistic/military version of Deadpool
4) There was no way I was wearing essentially a spandex onesie

I plan to work on the realistic concept for future events and keep evolving towards a more practical/bad-ass design.

Thanks theonizemus. It took a while to get it to a point I was happy with. Still some mods needed for future events.

I'm planning a Mystique cosplay, taking this one as an inspiration:

Never done this much make-up before, and never used contacts before, so should be interesting.

Hey guys!

I'm getting into Marvel cosplay as part of a new year's resolution, and my first project right now is Kitty Pryde's Excalibur outfit, since the classic yellow and black outfit is a little daunting to someone with very little sewing experiance, and Excalibur is just a really fun comic series. I might also be making a Stature (cassie lang) and Jubilee (90s outfit) cosplays later on in the year, but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Right now I'm preparing to start on a Guardians of the Galaxy cosplay.

I'm hoping to also get an X-23 cosplay going or a Psylocke one!

I'd also like to eventually do a Deadpool cosplay!

@Starsinthesky: Which character from Guardians? And it's great to see a fellow X-23/Deadpool fan! *high five*

I'm currently working on an Emma Frost cosplay, but the task is rather daunting since I have next to no sewing experience. I have had a lot of experienced sew-ers offer to help me, so one way or another, I'll get her done! Haha

Stars: I love Guardians! Ditto to Kirei: which character?

Kirei: Emma is the best. She was my first ever cosplay! Which version are you working on? I've got tentative plans to put together Phoenix Five Emma by NYCC '14.

@eebee: I'm doing the "Astonishing" suit. The one with pants and not the corset top. Here's an example:

I'm working on Monet "M" St. Croix. Her black and white costume, where the white goes out to her shoulders. Its on the cover of the all female X-Men Team #008. Then I might do Lady Deathstrikes new look next. Cant decide which one to wear to Wonder Con. Probably will be Monet, she's pretty awesome, and does not get a lot of cosplay. It's funny because her costume looks so much like Rogue's, just black and white......probably why they changed it up in issue #009.....which I might do as well for Wonder Con. ^_^ Everyone's costumes and works in progress look wonderful btw!

I want to do deadpool as my first cosplay, hopefully Dallas. I'm going to do the Lycra/spandex/zen tai suit but the rest I want to try to make myself. I just love deadpool, he fits my style comedy and being a person with adult ADD and being in the military and possibly being medically discharged I can kind of relate to him in a way. Or maybe it's just me lol, I just need to lose my guy and get back in shape, been slacking.
