For cosplay appreciation day I give you Glenn -Walking Dead: ((photo is attached))


First fact I am obviously not Asian (Korean) but I did my best for the makeup to make it overall male and to make myself look more Asian.


I realized as I was looking up something about Glenn just now that I need to hide about half my eyebrows on each side since his are shorter plus make them thicker; I also need a white shade in order to give myself higher looking cheekbones.


Secondly the clothes, I am thinking about just skipping both the shirts I’m wearing in the photo and going with a Black tee as seen in the show with jeans and shoes… who knows until the day of con xD Depends on what my Daryl wants me to take off—- wait whut???


Thirdly, should I skip the weapon (bat)?

And last but not least my friend has been kind enough to let me carry his backpack during con so… I’ll have a backpack!

EDIT: The hair will be more accurate in time for con xD Also my eyes will be brown I swear!!!

I would love some critiques on how to make this cosplay better.

I say go for the baseball shirt combo since it is more his signature look on the ads and more recognizable. I like the idea of the eyebrow changes and also put the baseball hat down over your forehead a little more. Keep the bat as well.

definitely more accurate hair like you said. and for a character on a tv show who doesnt wear crazy outfits (and so, not super recongnizable) you have to have accurate clothes if you want people to know who you are. so you should go with the baseball shirt and make it as close as you can

another thing i noticed was the makeup, to me the eyes look too overboard maybe? i'm not sure how round your eyes are but the eyeliner looks pretty heavy and for asian eyes he has heavy eyelids so you can try and focus on that the cheekbone thing is a good idea too

also i think you should use the bat since that is his favorite weapon
