Calibretto Armour
So im attempting to do this guy from Battle Chasers:
here and here Im trying to find the simplest way to make his oversized upper armour, considering it basically consists of 2 medium and 1 large spheres joined together my plan is to inflate and paper machier 3 beachballs. Before i get stuck in though, does anyone have any other ideas? Perhaps a simpler solution iv totally missed? ![]()

You could try big styrofoam balls or using expanding foam. Foam is very light and good for large pieces like that.

Ever tried designing it digitally and printing it out through Pepakura?
It really takes out most of the guess work. But the major drawback is the time it takes to put everything together.
