marvel valkyrie armor help!!

so I'm thinking of making valkyries costume for comic con this year but I'm not sure how to go about it. It's my first time making armor and I was thinking about using funfoam since I'm on a budget. I just need help making her breast plate (whats the best way to shape it?) and her neck armor thingy. I was also wondering what was the best way to attach it to her outfit (which will be made out of spandex)

For the armor on your chest, that is the only way I'd imagine doing it as it's a good point of reference.

As for the neck, you don't have to use foam as you can use fabric. It's just a matter of finding the right fabric type and painting it metallic silver.

Fun Foam/ Craft Foam would be perfect as a starting point, I am also beginning a project where all of the armor will be made from craft foam! I would look up craft foam armor tutorials on youtube, there are a ton available and they're all very helpful!

This video demonstrates how she creates a breastplate out of craft foam very informative as she continues through her trials and errors.

Here is also a thread that might help!
