Lollipop Chainsaw

Anyone else going to cosplay from this?

I'm really wanting to cosplay Juliet Starling in her main outfit, and possibly one of the alternate outfits. :3

I'm personally all over the cheerleader thing and love it. But anyone else gonna cosplay from this hack&Slash game? Any tips to share?

Used a certain pattern for the costume? Post here!

i'm planning on cosplaying her in her main outfit as well, but with slight modifications. I'm using a Simplicity pattern (the cheerleader one) for the skirt (making it longer than what's in the game). the top is slightly harder since i can't find a clear picture i can print out and iron on for the school logo. the shirt i'm making a bit longer to cover up a scar that i have.

I'll be using an old cheer dress I have and modifying it for the skirt (and salvaging fabric).

I am still looking for shoes that will be reasonable and good for a day of walking and 'kicking butt'.

The hair scrunchies are easy to make. The top I'll probably make a little stretchy.

I also want to do her all purple outfit (in game), and the all american outfit. :3 I'm completely addicted!

I'm surprised this thread isn't booming as much as I thought.

Hah! I know!

I guess people don't like to contribute information.

Anyway:
Sexy Casual American outfit is in progress. Going to start on chainsaw this week. Maybe. If I can get my dad to help.
Still need: Cowboy boots, belt, sew the back of my sports bra, and make the scrunchies.

Decided on the Alternate purple costume for my first "Main cheer" outfit. Since materials are already acquired (minus base top). I'm going to hand paint or hand embroider the knight symbol on the top. Maybe both. Need: Belt, shoes, leg warmers, top.
Have: Skirt, partially completed. :3

I'm re-constructing a chainsaw with my dad, mainly painting and doing the non overly laborious stuff. :3 But I'm super excited!

Yep, definitely planning a cosplay of Juliet! And I agree, I would have thought that this thread would just be full of replies. Sad day.
I absolutely love Juliet's character, she's so adorable. Unfortunately, I just started, so I don't have anything all ready yet except for yellow pom pom props, and I found those by accident. I have another cosplay I'm working on that's taking higher priority, but still, I'm hoping to have a Juliet cosplay done by September. Ha, wish me luck.

And all of her alternate outfits make for all kinds of cosplay ideas. Seems like fun!

I just have to say that making her chainsaw is a pain in my bum. There are so many things that are needed on it. But hey! That's what cosplays for, right?! RIGHTTT?! ~_~.

Check eBay for Curves sneakers. White with a red stripe. They are pretty close to what Juliet is wearing with her cheerleader uniform. And you can usually find them pretty cheap.

I'm working on the cheerleader uniform right now for Dragon*Con. It's not without it's hiccups. I had the main uniform commissioned, and it was less than perfect :-/ So I am modifying it as best I can to get it to wearable condition.
Any advice on the long socks? Something that will not slouch or fall down after taking a few steps?

I also have the Rockabilly Juliet nearing completion - and it is darn near perfect! Love it!

Still working on the chainsaw mod... I have an actual chainsaw handle & trigger (easily found on eBay), the body will be made out of foam, and the blade cut out of a light wood. It's still in various pieces, but I am hoping that everything comes together in the end... usually at the last minute!

Now the real test will be figuring out how to get that darn chainsaw prop on the airplane...

I think there is a Dragon*Con meetup, but it's like right after the giant Marvel shoot so that counts me out boo. if anyone wants to meet up any other time, I'd be down! I'm going to start mine this weekend - I've got an old cheer uniform I'm going to salvage the blue fabric from, and am thinking of making the top then taking it and the Knights logo somewhere to have it screen printed on...anyone have any thoughts on that? It's like the trickiest part (other than that chainsaw!)

I will probably go to 2013 Sakura-con, I haven't been since 2009 because I was always away on the other side of the country doing school during March, but now I'm free of it. I just need enough cash to afford it, which I have plenty enough time for. I could probably cosplay as Nick (full body or with a gash in the neck), or Swan pretty easily.

I think Zed would be fun, but I'd rather not grow another mohawk out, especially as long as his is. Joey would be great for the pure LOL of it, and I could probably do Lewis pretty easily, so he seems the most probable of the Purveyors.

If there's going to be a group then I'd be game. Actually, I may even do 2 different Lollipop Chainsaw cosplays at this point because there's so many cool characters in this game.

I may bring my Juliet to Sakura-Con, all depends on what I have going on.

I'm having issues with my chainsaw, because my dad is working on it and is making the base out of Pure Metal. We've already gutted it, but it's a little heavy. I'm thinking of purchasing Pom-Poms as a back up prop when I want to drop my chainsaw off at my hotel.
We're gonna make a special compartment in my chainsaw to 'store stuff' *probably in the hollowed out part*

it's smaller (normal sized to most chainsaws) than the in-game version, but her's is probably only 30" length anyways.

I'm just worried about not being able to use it in PAX! :/
And I'm also an elitist and want it perfect.... buh.... Maybe I should skip having a chainsaw, but that would be silly, because she rarely is seen without her chainsaw, not even in the cut scenes.

I'm making my practice chainsaw out of cardboard and papermache but I too was thinking of buying pom poms for a back up. It would be so awesome to gather up a whole bunch of girls to group of together. There's some 15 dollar ones i saw on amazon
