Only saw a cosplayer at the mall once, but that's not very random because cosplayers always go to the mall

I saw a bunch of people dressed as pirates (including a Jack Sparrow) at a metal concert since one of the opening bands had pirate themed music. It was awesome. XD

I don't think the guy was a cosplayer but he might have been.

I was in the london underground and I saw a man with a fancy cane, freaky contacts and a old style type clothing. I don't know if it was his style or not but I found it really cool.

I went to Paris over the summer and spotted a Team Rocket on the train.

And just a few weeks ago I was walking through my school's graphic design building and nearly ran into a Darth Vadar while coming around a corner. That one surprised my friend so badly that she almost fell down!

I haven't seen any cosplayers out of the blue, sadly. But whenever I'm in any public place I always keep a good eye out for them so I can go all "OMG MOM I HAVE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THOSE COSPLAYERS."

In a reverse situation, I went to a rock-climbing gym in cosplay. Yeah. I modified the outfit to be safe for climbing and made sure the staff were okay with it and my friend's costumes, so yeah, we turned some serious heads and had a blast. XD

Driving to work about a year ago...I saw some kid/teen wearing one of those coats with the clouds from Naruto. It wasn't near Halloween either so it made my head turn.

It's not that weird (it was on the way to a convention) but there was at least three of us on a plane flight, in an interesting twist all three of us were on the same flight back as well.

... The bathroom at a subway station. There is a convention center next to the subway station in question, however there was no convention there, or anywhere else in the city at that time.
