Alright, so!
I have quite a few facial piercings- five visible on my face (bridge, septum, dahlias, and a labret, so they're not in one localized area @_@), along with stretched lobes. I'm aware that I could use retainers for them, but, for a couple of reasons, I would simply prefer not to~
However, I'd rather not cosplay piercing-less characters and still have my piercings show! Because of that, I'm looking for characters that have at least their nose/mouth area covered, because at that point it's only a matter of getting one retainer for my bridge. A full-covered face would be ideal, though.
Bleach/Naruto characters aren't something I'm particularly looking to do right now despite their rather large amount of characters (or, at least, certain verions of characters) with covered faces, and the other ideas I've had are Hei from Darker than Black, one of the characters from Kakurenbo, Asura from Soul Eater, or Hannya from Rurouni Kenshin.
I'm just trying to add a few more options to the list, so, if any of you are aware of other characters that have their face covered in any way, whether it be a mask, wrappings, or whatever, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know!

For there are quite a few characters both male and female that cover their face all over the spectrum from anime, manga, and videogames. I'd also then ask are you willing to wear wigs or how difficult do you wish this costume to be?

I suppose I should have added that into my post, it's quite alright! I'd prefer to stick to anime and manga, video games aren't really my thing, and I'd like to watch/read whatever the character is from if I choose to cosplay a character that's from something I haven't seen before.

I'm willing to wear wigs and I'd prefer the character be male, but characters that are ambiguous or never have their gender stated are just fine as well.

Difficulty-wise... nothing too complex! I'd say novice-to-intermediate level in construction, with things like armor kept to a minimum.

Most Humanoid Digimon have their faces covered, although you could try using your piercings to your advantage in cosplaying by going as character's like Jan Valentine from Hellsing or Pain from Naruto (Yes I saw what you wrote about Naruto and bleach).

Depending on the characters that interest you, I don't think you'd necessarily need to go piercing-less. If the character has a punkish sort of attitude, the piercings could even add a really cool touch! For example, Paine from FFX-2.

There's No Face from Spirited Away, which would definitely be on the easier side construction-wise. Skull Kid from the Legend of Zelda could be really fun as well!

If you wanted to challenge yourself some, you could try doing a mecha cosplay? That would definitely involve a head covering. You could also try some gijinka designs, and add a mask where it makes sense?

Other than that, I'd definitely look at super heroes for options. Best of luck!

Most characters from Zone-00 have piercings, so maybe you could chek that out.
I think you'd be perfect as Byakko (the one on the left), he also has a bridge piercing and similar piercings around his mouth.
