Hello
I'm Nick, from Ottawa, Ontario. I've been a fan of Anime since I was in second grade, but I only recently started going to conventions (I've only been to Comic-Con and most recently N2U). After seeing all these great costumes I was inspired to start cosplaying but I just don't know where to begin. What skills should I learn if I want to make cosplaying a hobby?

Welcome to cosplay.com!
I guess it depends on whether you want to make your costumes yourself or not. (I pretty much have no sewing skills or anything of the like, so unfortunately I buy the majority of my outfits ^-^;; ) Things like wig-styling and makeup could come in handy too.

Welcome to the site!
![]() Like Kumoshi said it all depends on if you plan to make all of your stuff your self, or parts of it, etc. If you plan to make things yourself you can always post in the forums and ask for suggestions. Good luck~
