characters with armor

Hi guys! i'm trying to figure out what to be for acen this year and i just can't think of anything >< i have a few back up ideas... but i really wanted to try to make armor this time around. nothing too crazy since i've never even attempted armor before but i don't want it to be too simple either. i think i'd like to use craft foam or possibly expanding insulation foam. so anyway, any suggestions on video game characters that have some nice armor? preferably a girl but i don't mind being a guy (one of my thoughts was Kain from final fantasy iv). maybe you guys can help me get some ideas flowing. =^.^= thanks!

Well it depends on the level of sophistication of the armor for females as if can be full bodied to covering certain parts of the body. Here's a few.

Spartan from Halo (the armor is the same for both guys and girls)
Aqua from Kingdom Hearts birth by sleep
Lightning from Final Fantasy 13-2
Samus Aran from Metroid
Ghost/Kerrigan/Nova from Starcraft
a few characters from Soul Caliber
So many character from Warcraft
Then there are those custom characters which is an entirely other subject in itself.

So then it becomes a question of what kind of character you're looking for.

I hope this is being helpful.
When in doubt, just take the next small step.
With that next step take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
When the mind is calm you realize the best is still yet to come.

Just curious, do you have a preference as to the type of armor? Are you looking more at leather-y pieces, or foam manipulated to look metallic? Maybe something in between?

If you are feeling ambitious Flemeth from Dragon Age II is a fun character to play! Also the Female Demon Hunter from Diablo III would definiftely need some creativity armor wise to create!
