Eeyore and Roo Cosplay Help

My friend and I plan on cosplaying as Eeyore and Roo from Winnie the Pooh and if anyone could help me that would be wonderful. We're planning on doing gijinka versions of the characters so we're not making full mascot costumes or kigurumis. I would like some help making the ears. I tried Googling tutorials and trying to look for templates for ears but I'm not having any luck. If anyone has any templates for ears that could work for Eeyore and Roo that would be a huge help. Another thing I would need help with is knowing how much fabric to buy to make the ears. I never bought fabric before so I don't know how much to buy.

id star with a shape like a sea turtles flipper, then when you put somthing in for structure
make it twist forward a bit

roo seem to have a half almond shape

i would think eeyores ears will end up about 1.5-2ft long and 4.5-6in at widest point
and roos 10in tall (starting at base of wearers ear) and 3-4in wide
(imagine it like winter gloves held up to the side of thier head size wise)

not really experienced in this area so i cant really say what itll take to make
